The 17000-F3 is only compatible with mechanical 3-speed fans, such as a standard ceiling fan with pull chains. The switch enables you to switch between all three speeds or turn the fan OFF from a separate wall location. The 17000-F3 features a user-friendly design that trades standard pull-chains for a sleek and simple slider, allowing you to move the slider up or down to switch between low, medium, and high fan speeds, or to turn the fan OFF.

All switches are easily installed, as they come with pre-wired leads. The 17000-F3 makes an easy replacement for a standard wall switch and is compatible with decorator wall plates (sold separately). Specifications include 3 quiet fan speeds, a 2.5A fan motor (ceiling fan), and no neutral wire required.

The 17000-F3 is made of Polycarbonate Thermoplastic (PCT) material, providing the durability and resilience needed to withstand hard impacts and heavy force, as well as heat and fade resistance to temperatures over 100°F to prevent discoloration. It has a flammability UL94 V2 rating.
